this animated shortfilm, written and directed by tad lumpkin and harold uhl, explains the origin of money in the u.s.
it might be exaggerated and oversimplified here and then, but it brings its point across in a playful manner and thus very effectively. I highly recommend this movie if you’re interested in understanding what’s wrong with fractional reserve systems, like the ones that are being used by most central banks in the world today, but haven’t majored in finance or economy.
